Job Overview
We’re looking for experienced and reliable housekeeping staff including added quality control responsibilities, to help maintain the high standards of our riverside holiday lodges on the Norfolk Broads. This is a seasonal role with year-round potential, we’re busiest during spring, summer and autumn, but there’s still occasional work available in the quieter winter months.
Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is essential, Mondays and holiday cover as needed.
Your Initial Role
You will take responsibility for one of our riverside properties and also be able to work as a team with other housekeepers to ensure all are guest-ready to our usual 5-star standard. The ideal candidate will have the added responsibilities of assisting with quality control by inspecting the work of other housekeepers to ensure consistent standards across all properties before guest arrivals.
Duties
- Cleaning and preparing holiday lodges for guest changeovers. Including bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge, full kitchens and outdoor space.
- Checking inventory and reporting any maintenance or stock issues.
- Carrying out final checks to ensure everything is spotless and guest-ready inside and within the property grounds.
- Supporting quality control.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience is essential and ideally within the hotel or hospitality sector.
- An exceptional eye for detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality standards.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and staff courteously.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility for occasional Monday shifts and holiday cover.
- Self employed preferred but not essential.
- Driving license and own car essential to collect linen and top up boxes from reception and take to the property and return to reception.
