ROLE: Mobile Engineering Assistant
HOURS: 40 Hours per week
LOCATION: Chelmsford

We're looking for a Mobile Engineering Assistant who will complete engineering work within the area in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring repairs are undertaken appropriately and all planned maintenance is delivered in line with schedule and compliance standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Complete engineering work within the area in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring repairs are undertaken as appropriate
- Ensure all planned maintenance is carried out in line with its scheduled date and that Health & Safety policies are adhered to, with compliance to the agreed Mitie framework
- Ensure all equipment and services are kept and function safely according to Health & Safety, and that all staff are aware of safety procedures
- Be responsible for a team of engineers including day engineers and shift engineers, providing an up-to-date shift rota to ensure appropriate staffing
- Fully participate in training and appraisal activities and ensure KPIs are met as a key part of the role
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
- City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent
- HVAP qualification and relevant HV experience
- IEE 18th Edition Regulations (ideal) and IOSH Managing Safely
- Experience in dealing with all types of electrical installation and repair work
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to join a call-out rota
