We are looking a skilled shift supervisor to help us create a highly motivated and enthusiastic workforce who are committed to delivering the best quality services to our patients in SCGP. You will have proven communication skills and excellent telephone manner and experience of providing a service over the telephone.
On a daily basis you will supervise a team of care navigators and make sure they complete their tasks and liaise with our patients in our Care Navigation Centre. You will also act as a reference point for staff on your allocated shift and help ensure we deliver a high quality patient focused service.
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that key targets are met and maintained during your shift allocation. You will lead a diverse group of staff and develop their knowledge and skills to deliver a service that puts our patients at the forefront.
The post holders will ensure that staff provide a high quality of support, signposting, advice and guidance to our patients ensuring that is sufficient staff capacity to meet the demands of our patients.
The role will have oversight of the daily call demand, will assign tasks and workloads to staff, manage absences and leave along with ensuring staff are allocated sufficient time for training and support. The post holders will ensure that the daily huddles with staff are effective and informative and that a comprehensive handover is provided to the supervisor working the next shift.
This role requires professional individuals that are flexible in their approach to work and has experience working in a fluid, fast paced environment. You will have exceptional customer focus, good communication skills, both verbal and written with an eye for detail and a passion to make a difference. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
