Leicestershire County Care Ltd has been successfully running Residential Care Homes within the Midlands area for over 10 years. We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager at our care home Lenthall House. The home caters for residential, respite and dementia care.
The ideal applicant should have NVQ level 3 and be working towards NVQ Level 5 and have experience at senior level of running a care home, minimum 2+ years.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Deputising for the Home Manager during period of absence
- Allocation of staff and Home Management support
- Documentation; Care Plans, Supervisions and Personal Checklists
- Ensure training targets are met and the team is competent in their roles.
- Lead, manage, support and inspire the team to deliver outcomes for the home
- Take responsibility for the supervision, appraisal and performance of the team, supporting them to achieve their potential.
- Lead the home to ensure they are aligned with the Leicestershire County Care Ltd vision.
Skills and knowledge:
- Strong leadership skills
- Ensuring that all regulatory and statutory requirements are met and company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Ensuring any requirements from internal and external audits are actioned within the timescales required.
