Are you a qualified counsellor who would like to inspire and support the next generation of counsellors?
We are looking for someone who is interested in developing their career as a counselling tutor. This is a supported opportunity for a qualified counsellor who wants to move into teaching and share their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with future counsellors.
To apply, you will need to be a qualified counsellor, a member of a professional body and have at least one year’s counselling experience.
You will be supported to build your teaching experience over the course of a year. Starting as a co-tutor on an online CPCAB Level 2 counselling course, you will gradually develop your confidence, skills and experience as you work towards teaching a CPCAB Level 4 course at our Bristol venue.
Throughout this journey, you will receive plenty of support, including a structured training programme designed to help you grow into the role with confidence. You will develop key teaching skills such as presenting clearly, facilitating group discussion, creating a safe and supportive learning environment, holding the class, marking work, giving constructive feedback and understanding the wider responsibilities of a tutor.
This role could be ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, has a genuine interest in counselling education and would like to take the next step in their professional development.

Essential requirements
Applicants must have:
- A recognised counselling qualification
- Membership of a professional body
- At least one year’s counselling experience
- An interest in teaching, training or supporting the development of others
- Availability to teach in person at our Bristol venue as you progress towards Level 4 teaching

Pay: Up to £230.00 per day
