Dental Nurse (Qualified or Trainee) – Part Time, Permanent
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced, GDC-registered Dental Nurse. We will also consider a trainee Dental Nurse who is willing to enrol on a recognised training course.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Practice Manager and Head Nurse
- Providing support and reassurance to patients and team members
- Supporting and helping to train apprentice nurses
- Carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly audits, ensuring all checks are completed
- Managing stock control and ordering supplies
- Preparing fillings and other dental materials
- Sterilising instruments and maintaining equipment
- Processing X-rays
- Completing surgery checks and monitoring decontamination and infection control procedures
- Recording and maintaining accurate patient records
About You:
- GDC registered (or willing to train as a Dental Nurse)
- Organised, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- A proactive and positive approach to work
