We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to meet quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards across all menu items.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Support team management by mentoring junior staff and fostering a positive working environment.
- Ensure all food served aligns with company standards for taste, presentation, and safety.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service times and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Experience in food safety practices and compliance with health regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food production processes and serving standards.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
