ABOUT US,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
The Carningli Trust has been operating as a small, registered charity since the late 1980’s when a group of families chose to get together to build and secure the future of their children in the Carmarthenshire/ Pembrokeshire areas by creating the Carningli Trust. The families of the people we support are still integral to the Trust today and continue to be a part of our Board of Trustees.
Therefore, we feel strongly that they are homes for life, and we strive to develop how we support and care for individuals so that they can continue to receive support from the Trust, as it was originally set out to achieve.
We have 4 small well established adult residential homes located in St Clears, Tavernspite (Nr Whitland) and Haverfordwest supporting individuals with LD and other associated conditions. We have the pleasure of supporting wonderful, fun individuals (5 individuals in each), in small well established residential homes. They are keen to be active and engaged in all parts of their lives, therefore you must be willing to attend and engage in numerous activities. Drivers are preferred to support the activity program (you will not need to use personal vehicles for this), but the remote location will require you to be able drive to and from work across all shift patterns, as there is no access to regular public transport.
We also cover ALL costs for an Enhanced DBS, and Social Care Wales Registrations. Your commitment to working for the Carningli Trust is rewarded after your successful probation with an incremental bonus scheme starting with an increased hourly rate, enhanced bank holiday rates, increasing sick pay scheme and additional annual leave entitlement after 5 yrs of service. We also make discretionary bonus payments to our employees when possible so that we make sure you feel appreciated.
We are keen to employ individuals who want to promote independence and active lifestyles to the people we support in a very healthy and happy environment. Respect, dignity, and choice should also be in everything we do in the Carningli Trust, so if this is you, please contact us for a chat or email us for any further information.
We are a small well-established charity that not only cares for the people we support, we also care for our staff teams and encourage their training, development in an open and honest culture. Proven by our exemplary track record with inspections from CIW, NHS, and Commissioners of our services.
