We are seeking a highly capable, creatively driven Multimedia Specialist, an animator with videography and editing experience who brings genuine passion to their work. You will take ownership of projects from initial brief through to final delivery, generating original ideas and executing them to an exceptional standard. Working closely with colleagues across marketing, communications and design, you will play a key role in creating engaging visual content and delivering cohesive, impactful creative output across multiple platforms.
This role requires a highly organised individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment. At Gray’s, collaboration is central to how we work, so you must be confident contributing within a team whilst also taking initiative independently. The pace is demanding and you will be expected to perform consistently under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You should demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all correspondence, with meticulous attention to detail in spelling and grammar.
The ideal candidate will present a strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating:
- Develop and deliver creative animation, video and visual content strategies for clients, producing engaging content across digital, social media, events and campaign platforms.
- Create high-quality 2D and/or 3D animations, motion graphics, explainer videos and visual storytelling content tailored to client objectives and brand requirements.
- Plan, film and edit high-quality video content including promotional videos, interviews, event coverage, branded storytelling, testimonials and social-first content.
- Provide both strategic direction and hands-on support across all stages of content creation, including concept development, storyboarding, animation, filming, editing, sound design, visual effects and final delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop creative concepts, scripts, storyboards and content plans that align with brand identity and campaign goals.
- Manage production schedules and implementation plans to ensure all animation and video projects, campaigns and events are delivered professionally and within agreed deadlines.
- Create engaging motion graphics and visual assets for use across websites, social media channels, presentations, advertising campaigns and digital communications.
- Monitor and report on content and campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to the SMT, clients and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, production partners and clients to support successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present professional reports, campaign updates and creative proposals to clients as required.
- Have an active role in contributing to idea generation and creative development within the team.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a professional animation, motion graphics or video production role is essential.
Desired Criteria
- Proven experience in animation, motion graphics, videography and video editing, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard software.
- Excellent skills in motion design, visual storytelling, video editing, colour grading, compositing and visual effects creation.
- Good understanding of camera operation, lighting techniques and audio recording for video production.
- Knowledge of current digital media trends, animation techniques and best practices in visual storytelling.
- Third level degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Digital Media, Film Production or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing creative content for brands, organisations or campaigns.
- Punctual and well organised with an ability to keep on top of multiple projects simultaneously.
