Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and reliable School Run Driver to transport students safely to and from school and related activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a clean driving licence, and a strong commitment to safety and punctuality. Duties
- Safely operate a designated vehicle to transport students between their homes, school, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit by adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading students’ belongings, including heavy items if necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including regular checks on tyres, oil, and other essential components.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and colleagues regarding schedules or any delays.
- Keep accurate records of journeys, mileage, and any incidents or concerns during trips.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for passengers at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is desirable.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading students’ belongings.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with parents, children, and school staff.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance to perform routine checks and minor repairs.
- Excellent organisational skills with punctuality as a priority.
- Responsible attitude with a focus on safety and reliability.
