This is a 3-4 month contract role with a local authority, aimed at leading and managing the Tenant Engagement Team. The role is crucial in ensuring residents have a central role in shaping housing services. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive Resident Engagement Strategy, fostering meaningful involvement, co-production, and consultation, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Lead and manage the Resident Engagement Team, including performance management, supervision, and budget oversight.

Develop and deliver a compliant and effective Resident Engagement Strategy aligned with regulatory standards.

Build strong relationships with tenants, residents, elected members, and key stakeholders to ensure meaningful engagement.

Ensure resident feedback is captured, analysed, and used to drive improvements in service delivery and design.

Promote innovative engagement methods to reach diverse and seldom-heard communities.

Significant experience in resident engagement, co-design, and scrutiny, ideally within social housing or a regulated environment.

Experience developing and delivering engagement strategies that influence service design and delivery.

Proven experience managing teams, performance, budgets, and operational services.

Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in housing, community engagement, or a related field.

CIH Level 5 qualification (or working towards / willingness to undertake).

Subject to DBS check.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
