Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Domiciliary Care Manager to oversee and coordinate home care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing care teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a supportive environment, specialising in domiciliary care, dementia care, and senior care. The ideal applicant will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience in care settings such as nursing homes or care homes, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for service users.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure the delivery of personalised home care services that meet individual needs.
- Develop, review, and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to service users with complex requirements such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
- Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with legal and organisational policies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and social care regulations, including safeguarding procedures.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to promote holistic and continuous care.
- Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, and regular team meetings to uphold high standards of care.
- Manage staffing rotas, recruitment, training programmes, and staff development initiatives to maintain an efficient team.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to client records, incident reports, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote a person-centred approach within the organisation that values dignity, independence, and choice for all service users.
Experience
- Proven management experience within domiciliary care or nursing home environments.
- Extensive background in senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and home care services.
- Demonstrable experience in supervising teams within a regulated health or social care setting.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safeguarding procedures.
- Familiarity with creating and managing personalised care plans tailored to diverse needs.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and the ability to motivate teams effectively.

Pay: £29,655.37-£45,510.33 per year
