18-20 £10.85 PH
21+ £12.71 - £13 PH
The Role:
I am looking for someone who is.....
- someone who is easy to get on with but knows when to be more assertive when necessary.
- someone who can listen to me, laugh like you're my best friend and care for me like family.
- someone who can master the art of not arguing with the sat nav when taking me to appointments
- someone who can help with daily living tasks from preparing meals to offering companionship, with dignity and respect.
- someone who will being warmth, humour and patience into every visit even on those rainy Monday mornings when you want to stay in bed.
Duties
- Assist with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Medication administration
- Support with mobility and daily activities
- Accompany me to medical appointments, social outings, and errands
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Manage household tasks including light cleaning and organisation
- Communicate effectively with me, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive me safely to appointments or outings using a suitable vehicle
The extra information
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of risk assessments and ability to follow specified procedures confidently
- An understanding of Confidentiality and the Data protection Act 2018
- Valid driving licence (Full UK Driving Licence)
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with me
- Compassionate attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Mileage is £0.35 per mile
The Small Print
- The successful candidate will be required to pay for a DBS check. This will be refunded after the completion of 3 months work (unless you have one already that is transferable)
Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
