Background
Together We Can Do is an adult disability charity supporting people to be active, build confidence and access new opportunities through inclusive physical activity. We create supportive and inclusive environments where people can try new activities, grow in confidence and connect with others.
We deliver a range of accessible sessions including football, boccia, netball, 10 pin bowling and multi-sport activities, alongside opportunities shaped by our members’ ideas—supporting people to explore what’s possible. Alongside our physical activity programme, we provide regular social opportunities that enable members to connect, build friendships and take part in activities that are enjoyable and fun. We support individuals to progress at their own pace, including opportunities to take part in competitive sport such as football and boccia, enabling members to compete with their peers. We currently have teams taking part in Boccia England’s National League and the Lancashire FA Ability Counts League and over the next year expect to have teams taking part in other competitive sports.
