Field Service Engineer – HIAB / Lorry Loader
Hours: Mon - Fri (45hrs)
Salary: £41,000 – £60,000 OTE
Overtime (1.5x)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing and reputable business within the lifting and crane sector. This role focuses on the service, maintenance, and repair of HIAB / lorry loader cranes, working across a regional patch.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer or someone with a strong background inconstruction plant or forklift engineering looking to specialise and develop within the crane sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair HIAB / lorry loader cranes
- Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults
- Carry out inspections and ensure equipment meets safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service on-site
- Complete job reports and documentation using provided devices
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working on HIAB / lorry loader cranes (ideal)
- OR background in construction plant, powered access, or forklift engineering
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
