Due to our recent growth and success we are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team on a long-term contract basis within a high-security prison environment.
You will be working as part of a day-to-day reactive team, providing reactive electrical work, tasks including testing and inspection where required, fault finding, fitting new sockets etc. You will be inside the prison establishment, so you must be comfortable in this environment. You may be required to work elsewhere, we work across the public and private sectors, including education establishments, hospitals, high-security prisons, social housing, etc.
You must also be able to pass a strict vetting process, have a DBS (if you do not already have this, we can assist with getting it)
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- CSCS
- NVQ Level 2
- Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence and have your own transport & tools
You must:
- Must have previous experience as an electrician
- Speak fluent English
- Be able to pass background checks and vetting procedures to access prison
- Be able to operate power tools
