Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Bathroom fitters, (Joiners or Plumbers) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing high end bathroom renovations. This role requires a strong understanding of bathroom fit outs, plumbing and carpentry, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to diverse projects across commercial and residential settings.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure precise execution of tasks.
- Perform basic plumbing tasks related to carpentry projects where necessary.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing structures or fixtures.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in bathroom fit out, joinery or plumbing is essential.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes is required.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations are necessary.
- Qualifications in field along with 3 years experience in a similar job role.
