Aberdeen Laundry Services (ALS Group) is seeking a Class2 HGV Driver to join our team on a fixed-term seasonal contract. As a leading textile rental and laundry provider with four strategic sites across Scotland, we’re looking for someone who can elevate our brand presence while championing our sustainability initiatives.
Pay
£17.20 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all relevant regulations. The successful applicant will have experience in commercial driving.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a lorry or van to transport goods to designated locations.
- Daily Vehicle Checks.
- Loading and unloading Vehicle.
- Recording daily delivery logs, including mileage & fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Role requires weekend work
Qualifications
- Full Class 2 HGV driving licence
- Full CPC and digital tachograph card
- Experience as a delivery driver
