Support Worker – Independent Living Support (Sully)

Pay Rate: £14-15 per hour
Shifts: Day shifts (11am-8pm) and Sleep-ins (10pm-7am)
Driver Required: Yes – with business insurance on vehicle

Right now, we’re looking for a friendly, emotionally aware Support Worker to join a team supporting a determined young woman with cerebral palsy and reduced mobility. She’s working towards living independently in her own forever home and loves everything from swimming and cinema trips to writing and shopping. This role is all about balance — encouraging her goals and supporting her safety, while giving her the space to lead her own journey.
You do need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle to work as a Support Worker with us. This is because all our customers live in their own homes in the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Offering support with daily tasks like meal prep, money management, and appointments
- Encouraging independence and emotional regulation in a warm and calm manner
- Providing assistance with personal hygiene and safety in the kitchen
- Supporting mobility needs
- Accompanying her on community outings like walks, cinema visits, shopping, and swimming
- Supporting sleep-in shifts and being available overnight if needed
- Promoting her goals toward moving into her own long-term home
