Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Property Valuer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the value of various properties, providing accurate reports, and delivering excellent customer service. Duties
- Conduct property inspections to assess condition, features, and market value
- Analyse property data using recognised valuation methods and tools
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports with clear documentation of findings
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice
- Utilise IT systems, including Microsoft Excel, to record and manage property information
- Drive to different locations for property inspections and client meetings
- Maintain organised records of all assessments and correspondence
- Stay updated on local property market trends and relevant regulations
Requirements
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between properties
- Excellent customer service skills to engage effectively with clients
- Proficiency in IT applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interactions
- Organisational skills to manage multiple assessments efficiently
- Previous experience in property valuation or related roles is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
