Full time chef required to work closely with management and care staff to provide our residents with a balanced nutritious diet.
You will be responsible for the overall management of the catering needs, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, completing documentation and participating in the development of weekly food menus. To be successful in this position you need to be a team player with good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will also need to be trained to NVQ level 2 in catering and hold a basic food hygiene certificate. Knowledge of HACCP is essential.
Our residents enjoy their snacks and cakes, so the ability to bake would be an advantage!
Training will be provided. All applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.
