Johnsons is one of the leading coach companies in the West Midlands, with a thriving and successful Coach Hire Department. We are looking for a positive, customer-focused and proactive person to join our successful sales team.
Our Private Hire Department receives enquiries and bookings from a wide range of clients, including social groups, schools and universities, corporate clients, sports teams, holiday organisers and many more.
Our Coach Hire Sales Consultants work closely with clients to offer the best solutions for their requirements and provide prompt responses to their needs. Every hire is unique, and our sales team provides a bespoke offer for each enquiry. We are looking for someone to support the sales team with general administration, sales quotation follow-up and customer communication. You should have excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail, enthusiasm, flexible thinking and a clear focus on customer service to help drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
· Administer quotations by processing accurate data onto the booking system.
· Follow up quotations and help convert enquiries into confirmed bookings for a range of clients.
· Analyse resources and forecast demand, using yield management principles to achieve beneficial outcomes.
· Liaise with clients to offer suitable solutions and pricing options.
· Respond to customer calls and emails promptly and professionally.
· Build and nurture client relationships to achieve repeat business.
· Improve the company profile and reputation to encourage referrals.
· Liaise and communicate with clients before and after trips.
· Assist in collating sales performance indicators (KPIs) and team conversion rates.
· Support the wider Private Hire Team as required.
· Provide operational on-the-ground support for large coach hire events.
· Other duties related to the coach hire department but not specifically listed above.

· Knowledge of driving legislation.
Basic working hours:
Full-time position: 09.00hrs–17.00hrs weekdays, with 30 minutes for lunch, on a rota basis with other staff.
There is occasional overtime availability on weekdays, subject to workload and infrequent on-site ground support for large coach hire events during evenings and weekends.
This is initially a fixed term contract for 6 months.
