Main Purpose of Role
To deliver confidential professional stakeholder focused processes in business support administration, providing information and advice to both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires the individual to work as part of a specialist team working proactively with minimal supervision to support senior leaders in managing their respective portfolios.
Key Skills & Experience Required
Experience working within a team, supporting colleagues, and making a positive contribution.
Experience of effective and proven employee/customer service administration skills.
Experience of proficient updating and working with various IT systems maintaining accurate records.
Experience of advising internal & external stakeholders on internal policy and procedure.
Understanding of the Data Protection Act and its application.
Knowledge of working within policing and/or of partners and partnership agencies working with the Police.
Experience of relationship management, specifically within a large multidisciplinary organisation and with external partners.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines taking personal responsibility for prioritising workloads in accordance with agreed deadlines and maintaining a focus on customer service.
Ability to produce written documents to a high standard paying meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to produce spreadsheets and present statistical information.
Accurately recording meeting minutes.
