Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Squarefoot Investments UK Limited.
This role is essential in overseeing maintenance operations for our properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet safety standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing tenant satisfaction and property value.
Job Purpose Summary:
To work within the maintenance team coordinating maintenance issues reported by tenants and allocating the works to the relevant contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with tenants, landlords, the Squarefoot Maintenance Team and external contractors.
2. It is essential that you have the skills to manage a busy work load to ensure properties are ready for tenants to move in within the time frame.
3. Managing maintenance issues reported through the tenant reporting system – Fixflo.
4. Instructing contractors when required ensuring they have a full report on the issues they are attending to and have details for accessing the property.
5. Ensuring work boards are up to date
6. Update management systems accordingly with any relevant Health and Safety Checks/Legislation e.g. Keeping gas safety records up to date
7. Managing work orders sent for completion to Squarefoot Maintenance, ensuring landlords have given approval for the works and liaising with the accounts team to ensure that work orders have been processed correctly.
8. Visiting and inspecting properties when required this includes completing checkouts, void checks and property inspections.
Skills Required
1. Professional, well-spoken and proficient written communication skills.
2. Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office and working with database systems – although training will be given on internal processes and systems.
3. Strong administration and organisation skills are essential
4. Excellent organisational skills
5. A full clean manual driving licence is essential
