Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in a care home or home care setting. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and attentive support. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering excellent standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Help with feeding and hydration
- Monitor and record patient condition (temperature, pulse, respiration if trained)
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow care plans and report any changes to senior staff
- Ensure safeguarding and dignity of all service users
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience in care in UK (preferred but not essential for some roles)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Other compliance documents as per requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Manual Handling & Basic Life Support training
- Experience in care homes, hospitals, or community care
