Silver Lining Fostering Agency is looking for a confident supervising social worker to join their growing team. We are an Outstanding-rated fostering agency based in Brentford, London. This role is also open to international social workers who have a valid registration with Social Work England.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and supervising foster carers and ensuring that children looked after receive high standard of care while they are in foster placements. You will be based in Brentford but covering all London areas with occasional travel to outside London. Therefore, it is imperative that you are willing to travel and ideally have access to a car.
You will work with foster carers, children social workers and other professionals so that care plans for children are progressed and positive outcomes are achieved for children in care. You will oversee that foster placements are compliant of fostering regulations. You would be expected to contribute to identifying and matching in-house foster placements for the referrals received from the local authorities.
