Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including working areas, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a spotless finish
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash liners to keep facilities well-equipped
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and promptly address any cleanliness issues
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks when required, including cleaning machinery or specialized equipment
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facility upkeep
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of commercial and residential cleaning standards
- Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
