We currently have a 24 hour part-time vacancy for a spa cleaner
Key Objectives
1. To ensure that the building is cleaned to a high standard in line with the cleaning specification.
2. To ensure the security of the building and its contents during cleaning hours.
K.O.1
a) To only use Club approved chemicals and substances correctly and safely following certain procedures and by using correct dilution ratios.
b) To only use chemicals for which you have received relevant COSHH training
c) To read the “cleaners communication book” before the start of each shift.
d) To record any problems or incidents in the “cleaners communication book” as appropriate.
e) To ensure all equipment is cleaned appropriately at the end of each shift.
f) To ensure that all equipment and materials are stored safely and tidily at the end of each shift.
g) To ensure that requirements for new equipment and chemicals are notified to the Club Manager with sufficient notice to ensure deliveries arrive before stock levels run out.
h) To ensure the safety of club users when cleaning during opening hours. This includes relevant use of warning signage and appropriate cleaning materials
K.O.2
a) To liaise with the Club Manager to ensure that the building is fully secured during any night cleaning hours.
b) To follow Club’s procedures should staff require to exit the building for any reason.
c) To ensure that staff do not enter any unauthorised areas.
d) To telephone the Club’s nominated “call out” in the event of any serious incident.
e) To feedback any matters of concern as soon as possible to the Club Manager.
f) To ensure the building is secure and the alarms are set before leaving.
Health & Safety:
As a senior member of staff you are responsible for the safety and welfare of any staff under your direct control, and you must therefore have knowledge of the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and relevant instructions to your area of work. Any matter which you consider requires attention in this respect is your responsibility to report following the correct procedures, or to the Health and Safety Manager. Copies of the current Health & Safety Policy and Safety Procedures are available in the Club.
