The Role – Air Conditioning Engineer
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering the Midlands region.
The Air Conditioning Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and minor installation works across a varied portfolio of commercial and public sector sites.
Key Responsibilities
- PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Service, fault find and repair split systems, VRVs, chillers, AHUs and ventilation equipment.
- Carry out occasional installation, commissioning and modification works.
- Complete compliance paperwork and F-Gas documentation.
- Cover sites across the Midlands region.
- Participate in an on-call rota following an initial settling-in period.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with current regulations.
Requirements
Essential
- Current F-Gas certification.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- C&G/NVQ in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration.
- Electrical qualifications.
- Experience working within secure or public sector environments.
- Broad M&E maintenance experience.
