Client Finance Partner – Exciting Opportunity with a Growing Property Business
We are partnering with a highly respected Property Management organisation to recruit an experienced Client Finance Partner.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and collaborative finance team, playing a vital role in the preparation, reconciliation, and delivery of service charge accounts across a diverse property portfolio. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring financial information is accurate, compliant, and delivered to the highest standard.
The Opportunity
Location: Head Office - Hybrid (1 day based at home).
Package: Up to £55,000 DOE.
Sector: Property / Block Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and completing year-end accounts in line with statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements
- Managing monthly accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Working alongside property managers and developers to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Producing detailed account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Liaising with auditors, clients, and internal teams throughout the account finalisation process
- Reviewing and analysing financial variances and historical account data
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Supporting the smooth transition of accounts from previous managing agents where required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within service charge accounting
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, including RICS and ARMA guidance
- Ability to prepare and review financial statements accurately and within deadlines
- Experience managing accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working with client money and service charge funds
