Healthcare Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to patients in various healthcare settings.
Duties:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support patients with mobility issues and help them move around.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Skills:
- Experience in a care home or home care setting.
- Ability to drive to different locations as needed.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Fluency in English for clear communication with patients and staff.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to assist in their implementation.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Additional languages spoken.
- Experience working with elderly or vulnerable populations.
