Sector Cleaning Manager

We are seeking a Sector Cleaning Manager to provide direct line management to front-line Placemakers across a designated sector of sites.
This role supports the KAN business by ensuring the effective delivery of all self-delivered activities within the aligned UK sector. The position requires strong operational oversight, hands-on support, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
Job Description
We are looking for someone who can work closely with both direct and indirect account teams to ensure service delivery meets all expectations and requirements.
The postholder will oversee Supervisors and Rapid Response Cleaners, act as a key point of support for frontline queries, and contribute to continuous improvement across the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervisory management of Supervisors and Rapid Response Cleaners.
- Support direct and indirect account teams with general cleaning queries and service delivery needs.
- Ensure all SLA and KPI requirements are met in collaboration with the OSC job management team.
- Encourage a strong customer-focused culture within aligned Placemaker and MAS teams.
- Deliver services in line with contractual specifications and standardised processes.
- Meet agreed deadlines, maintain quality standards, and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
- Recruit Frontline Placemakers and Rapid Response roles.
- Manage Health & Safety responsibilities for all front-line Placemakers, including incidents, toolbox talks and Near Hit reporting.
- Support timesheet processes including T&A, P2P, ITS and Maximo requirements.
- Identify and deliver savings initiatives through efficient service delivery.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and projects effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Holds a UK driving licence – required for travel.
