We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, including hotels and commercial establishments. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in hotels or commercial facilities.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and maintain a high level of customer service throughout the cleaning process.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage cleaning supplies effectively, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and reporting any shortages.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless operation within the establishment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
- Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness are essential for this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends if required.
