Role Overview
As a Security Operative with Alpha Protect Ltd, you will be a key part of maintaining a safe environment for clients, visitors, and staff. You will undertake a variety of duties including site patrols, access control, incident response, and reporting, while upholding our high standards of professionalism and service excellence.
General Key Responsibilities
Provide a visible, professional security presence at client sites
Conduct patrols (static and mobile) to deter crime and ensure safety
Control access points and manage visitor entry in line with client procedures
Monitor and report incidents promptly using company systems
Assist with crowd management and stewarding at events when required
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and escalations calmly and effectively
Support client relationships through excellent customer service
Essential Requirements
Valid SIA licence (Door Supervision or Close Protection)
Right to work in the UK
First aid qualification
DBS Check
Good communication and observational skills
Professional appearance and attitude
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Desirable But Not Essential
Experience in manned guarding, mobile patrols, event security, or corporate sites
UK Driving Licence
Crowd control or conflict resolution training
