Job Summary
Kidzrus The Lodge are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of children in our care. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage classroom dynamics will be essential in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Duties
- Provide high-quality childcare in accordance with early years standards and regulations.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where all children feel valued and respected.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an effective team environment, sharing ideas and best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Requirements
- Level 2 in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively manage classroom activities and dynamics.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning.
- Ability to drive may be advantageous for commuting purposes but is not mandatory.
- A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare at all times.
