Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Business Partner to work closely with our Commercial teams, while supporting Operational and Procurement teams as required. The successful candidate will provide financial insights, support business decision-making, and drive financial planning processes. With strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial systems, they will play a key role in improving business performance and supporting organisational growth. The role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to ensure financial strategies align with business objectives and deliver commercial value.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support business goals.
- Analyse financial data using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities through comprehensive analysis.
- Provide insights into financial performance, highlighting areas for improvement or investment.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate effective communication of financial information across departments to support informed decision-making.
- Assist in the optimisation of IT systems related to finance functions, ensuring data integrity and security.
Experience/Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, or a related role within a corporate environment.
- ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and modelling techniques.
- Advanced skills in Power BI for data visualisation and reporting purposes.
- Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to create professional presentations and documents.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively in English.
- Organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to finance operations is advantageous.
