We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of hairdressing services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application
- Offer personalised consultations to understand clients’ preferences and advise on suitable styles and treatments
- Maintain a clean and organised work station in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Upsell additional services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling enquiries efficiently
- Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in barbering, colour techniques, or other specialised skills
- Assist with store management tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Proficiency in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and colour correction is highly desirable
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell services tactfully
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments effectively
- Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute positively to team morale
- Knowledge of store management procedures is advantageous but not essential
