Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic is a modern, well-established practice providing high-quality dental and orthodontic care. We are looking for a qualified dual qualified Orthodontic Therapist and Dental Therapist to join our friendly and professional team on a part-time basis.
The Role
You will work alongside our orthodontists and clinical team to deliver excellent orthodontic care in a supportive and well organised environment. This role is ideal for an orthodontic therapist looking for flexible sessions within a reputable clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing orthodontic treatment within scope of practice and prescription
- Fitting and adjusting orthodontic appliances
- Taking digital scans and clinical records as required
- Delivering a high standard of patient care and communication
- Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
- Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- Qualified Orthodontic Therapist
- Current GDC registration
- Previous orthodontic experience preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach

Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient consultations and procedures, ensuring smooth clinical operations
- Prepare and sterilise orthodontic equipment and materials in accordance with health and safety standards
- Take and interpret medical imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide patient education on treatment processes, oral hygiene, and appliance care
- Monitor patient progress throughout treatment programmes, documenting updates accurately
- Support the team in maintaining accurate patient records and scheduling appointments
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment
Experience
- Prior experience as an Orthodontic Therapist or within a similar dental support role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques utilised in dental diagnostics
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, particularly oral and maxillofacial structures
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
