Caledonian Alloys are seeking to recruit an additional Process Operator x 2 to support the growth of the business here in Hereford.
The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our busy operations team. The successful candidates will be required to work in various areas of the operation performing the following duties and will need to be available to work as well as days 7.30am to 4.00pm (39 hours per week with an early finish Friday at 3pm). There may be a future need to work shifts (6-2/2-10) depending on business needs, so flexibility required regarding working hours.
- Solids sorting and processing
- Turnings sorting and processing
- Carry out daily checklists to the highest standard
- Adherence to company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping tasks
- Highlight any identified risks or issues to management
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Forklift truck operation and ideally a current licence
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Standard hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 7.30 am to 16.00 pm and Friday 7.30 am to 15.00 pm. This role will require a degree of flexibility in relation to shift working, overtime and daily task requirements.
