Jewellery Sales Advisor/Trainee Watch Repairer
Gold and Times is a small, independent family jewellers with branches in Darwen and Bolton, Lancashire since 1995. We specialise in new and pre-owned jewellery together with an exceptional watch and jewellery repair service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a jewellery sales advisor/basic watch repairer to join our small, friendly team in Darwen. The successful applicant must be dedicated and have the drive and desire to progress within the company and also to be able to work at our Bolton branch covering holidays etc.
Previous experience in jewellery is essential as is a pleasant and approachable personality. Primarily a sales role, you should be comfortable working to targets and have a strong understanding of the sale process. This role demands first class customer service skills and as such you should naturally enjoy looking after your customers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who:
Has a minimum of 2 years jewellery experience in the retail sector.
Preferably has experience taking in watch and jewellery repairs.
Preferably has basic watch repair experience.
Has a positive “can do” attitude.
Has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Is self-motivated and smartly presented.
Have great communication skills with a natural flair for striking up conversation.
Is eager to learn and build on their retail and product knowledge.
As well as Sales...
You must be willing to share in the general team duties in our busy store. This includes helping with dressing the windows and ensuring the displays are neat and clean and that pieces are well presented at all times.
It is imperative that the store is always clean and tidy and ready to welcome customers at all times. High standards must be maintained throughout the day.
Hours - Full-time
5 days a week, 38 hours, we never work Sundays!
Monday 8.30am – 4.45pm
Wednesday – Friday 8.30am – 4.45pm
Saturday 8.30am – 4.00pm
Excellent Salary (£25750 - £28650) dependant on experience, sales related bonuses, generous staff discounts.
