Assistant Swimming Manager
Bognor Regis – Holiday Resort
Permanent | Full-Time Hours
We are currently recruiting for 1 x Assistant Swimming Manager to join the team at a busy holiday resort in Bognor Regis.
Essential Requirements
- Valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience working as a Lifeguard in a busy leisure or swimming pool environment
- Supervisory or leadership experience with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures within a swimming pool environment
- Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Swimming Manager with the day-to-day operation
- Ensure the safety of guests and team members by maintaining high operational and safety standards
- Supervise and support the lifeguard team, providing coaching and guidance
- Carry out pool plant and water quality checks in line with company procedures
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure all health & safety policies, operating procedures, and emergency action plans are followed
- Assist with staff training, performance management, and maintaining a positive team culture
