Location: Field based from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Annual Earnings: £40000 - £55000
Hours: 40 hours basic (08:00 - 16:30) - Monday - Friday

Overview of Role
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Plant fitter to join a growing team covering Cambridgeshire.
This is a mobile, field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and delivering first-class service on-site.
The Mobile Plant fitter be carrying out repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and overhauls on a wide range of mobile plant machinery, from excavators and shovels to dumpers and telehandlers.
Key Responsibilities for the Mobile Plant fitter
- Carry out diagnostics, repairs and servicing on plant equipment
- Perform major overhauls and mechanical rebuilds where required
- Complete scheduled maintenance on-site or in the field
- Work independently using your own initiative to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records and service reports
Essential Requirements for the Mobile Plant fitter
- City & Guilds Level 2 in Plant Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- OR recent hands-on experience working as a Plant Fitter
- Solid mechanical knowledge across diesel, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Good problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic
