Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Science Tutors to join our educational team at our London tuition centres. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalised, in-person instruction. You will work with children across KS3-KS4 (with option to opt in for A-level), delivering tailored lessons that foster both academic progress and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, tailored Science lessons with groups of 3-4 students
- Teach students at KS3/KS4 level aligning with the national curriculum
- Assess students every 4th week to evaluate and track student progress
- Create a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Provide clear explanations, encourage student participation and answer questions effectively
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support student development
- Update feedback on our feedback app so parents are aware of their child's progress
Requirements
- Must have achieved a minimum of grade 7 for Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- Must have achieved a minimum grade B if Biology, Chemistry or Physics taken at A-level
- Ideal candidate would have previous tutoring or teaching experience
- Strong verbal , written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage, adapt and relate with students
