Mini Meadows Farm is a lovely children’s farm park on the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire border. Nestled in 12 acres of rolling countryside in the village of Welford, Mini Meadows Farm provides a fun, educational and great value family day out for adults and children alike, whatever the weather.
We have a fantastic and busy little coffee shop and we need someone to help our chef in the kitchen at weekends and during event periods and holidays.
We are open from 9am until 5pm daily so NO evenings required so this is a perfect hospitality job.
We are looking to recruit a Head Cook or assistant cook/chef to help out with basic cooking and preparing of food.
This is a hands-on role as we can get very busy during weekends and school holidays in particular. There is so much room for expansion with this side of the business, so bring your enthusiasm and ideas and let’s see what we can build together.
This is a full time role, 3 days during the week and alternate weekends.
Responsibilities:
Food preparation
Cooking
Cleaning up after service
Helping with pot wash if we are snowed under :)
Requirements:
Cooking experience would be ideal as you will be 'hands on' in the kitchen.
Availability to work within opening hours ( weekends and during school holidays on a rota)
You should be familiar with the regulations governing food preparation and serving, and will be responsible for maintaining our high standards.

Pay: £11.00-£14.00 per hour
