We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team as a Brewery Tour Guide. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual with a passion for beer, who enjoys storytelling and is a natural host.
A natural people person, you'll be the face of the brewery, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment for our guests.
Long Man Brewery’s award-winning beers are crafted in a converted flint barn in the heart of the South Downs National Park. We put environmental sustainability at the core of everything we do. Our beers are brewed using regeneratively farmed barley, grown on site at Church Farm. No till, Long Man utilises nature’s natural cycles and biodiversity to lock in carbon, keep the worm population healthy and prepare the soil for growing barley.
This role requires excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition to create memorable experiences for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with and welcoming brewery tour customers.
- Delivering an engaging, interesting and memorable tour experience.
- Supporting the retail team to provide great service for all guests.
- Setting up and preparing for the arrival of tour groups.
Skills
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to captivate an audience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, you are a natural storyteller.
- Passionate about beer, previous experience in tourism or hospitality is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to scheduled tour times.
- A friendly and approachable personality that encourages visitor engagement.

Shift Pattern
Approx 16 hours per month across 2 Saturdays, tour dates agreed 3 to 6 months in advance, 10am to 6pm.
We’ll provide full training and a total ‘immersion’ in brewery life to ensure you’re prepared for all questions and eventualities.
