Store Manager – The iOutlet (Plympton)
Location: Plympton, Plymouth
Job Type: Full-time, 41hrs/week, Permanent (Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00 + Sat 09:00-12:30)

The iOutlet is one of the UK's leading retailers of refurbished technology, specialising in smartphones, tablets, MacBooks, gaming consoles, and device repairs.
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our Plympton store. This is a hands-on role that combines store management, sales, customer service, stock control, and device repairs.
The Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, strong sales performance, and efficient operational management.
You will lead by example, working closely with customers while ensuring the store remains organised, profitable, and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities
Device Repairs & Diagnostics
- Carry out repairs on smartphones, tablets, and MacBooks to a high standard.
- Diagnose faults and provide accurate repair assessments.
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and fully tested before collection.
- Maintain repair quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service & Sales
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers.
- Advise customers on refurbished devices, repairs, accessories, and trade-ins.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using our bespoke system.
- Identify opportunities to maximise sales and customer value.
Store Management & Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Monitor sales performance and work towards store targets.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Ensure the store remains clean, organised, and visually appealing.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Administration & Reporting
- Accurately record repairs, sales, and stock movements.
- Produce reports and updates for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain security and operational standards within the store.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Confidence working independently and managing store operations.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience repairing smartphones, tablets, or laptops not essential as training can be provided.
- A genuine interest in technology and consumer electronics.
