Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept tidy, sanitary, and presentable, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This role is suitable for cleaners available for flexible hours, jobs will often entail cleaning after parties/events etc; Payment is dependant on the client however minimum pay for any job will be £15 per hour
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to a streak-free finish.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience with general cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous.
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning tasks is desirable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
