Job Summary
Evoke Staffing are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shot Blaster to join our clients manufacturing team based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing metal components through abrasive blasting to ensure surfaces are clean and ready for subsequent fabrication or finishing processes.
Forklift or Overhead crane licence is essential.
- Operate shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces efficiently and safely.
- Set up and adjust blasting machines according to specifications.
- Inspect components before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools as required.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow.
- Document work performed accurately in accordance with company procedures.

Wednesday 14:00-00:00
Thursday 14:00-23:30
Total working hours 37.5 hours a week
Shift allowance of 9%
Overtime may be available after 37.5 hours Monday to Saturday x 1.5 , Sundays x2.
PPE will be provided as following-Blaster helmet, Gloves, Overalls, Hi-Vis and Safety boots
