Our focus is on residential refurbishment & construction projects with a particular emphasis on individual high-end residential refurbishment work. Most of our projects are in South West / West London.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active Health & Safety Adviser to join our company. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting a safe working environment by developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:-
Solid grounding in H&S, ideally with a construction-focused NEBOSH / IOSH;
Strong understanding of CDM requirements;
Strong report writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation for various audiences;
Communications skills, a practical approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to get things done are also important.
Location:- In-person. Mixed site / office based.
Key responsibilities:-
Provide expert advice and guidance to management and staff on health and safety matters.
- Site Compliance:- Coordinate all H&S aspects, including site set-ups; risk assessments, method statements (RAMS); and toolbox talks.
- Operational Safety:- Monitor PPE usage; conduct site inductions and inspections; manage first aider coverage.
- Accident investigation:- record, investigate and follow up on any accidents, incidents and near-misses.
- Documentation & Policy:- review company policies; update documentation; maintain compliance with evolving best practices in H&S management and changes to H&S legislation.
- Culture & Communications:- promote a positive safety culture.

Licence/Certification:
- UK driver's licence (required)
