CONTRACT TYPE: 1 x Permanent.
DEPARTMENT: BBC HR
LOCATION: Birmingham – Hybrid
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive, people-focused individual to join our Resourcing Administrative Team within the BBC’s HR Service Centre. The team plays a vital role in providing agile, high-quality support across a range of HR functions, including Recruitment, Onboarding, and HR Services.
Working collaboratively with multiple teams, you will support the end-to-end employee journey, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for colleagues at every stage.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
Deliver a high-quality administrative service to hiring managers and candidates across the BBC
Manage interview scheduling, including coordinating communication with key stakeholders
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with BBC policies and legal requirements
Communicate clearly and empathetically with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams
Use People systems (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors) to input and track data with precision
Coordinate welcome communications and recruitment/Onboarding materials
Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and suggest creative ideas
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, or a similar support role
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data
Comfortable using HR systems and digital tools. Experience with SAP or similar HR systems
Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively, combined with a team-oriented mindset and a strong ability to collaborate effectively with others
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Welsh speaking
Understanding of recruitment / onboarding best practices and compliance requirements
